Two Sisters. Will Travel.
Hi! We are sisters, Trisha and Charlene. We were born in the 1980’s (the best decade ever), 11 months apart making us “Irish Twins.” If ever two sisters could share the same brain, it is us. Our lives mirror each other in many ways. We both are stay-at-home moms, homeschool our children, and are passionate about many of the same things.

Some of Our Passions
Lifestyle
Between the two of us, we have five children and we are always looking for things that make our lives easier. Lifestyle to us is about what inspires us in our everyday life and interests, whether it’s parenting, budgeting, homemaking, home decor, or DIY. We can’t wait to celebrates life’s little pleasures with you.
Traveling
Traveling is by far the thing we love the most (besides being moms and wives, of course)! The majority of our favorite childhood memories involve hopping in the family van for a road trip into the great outdoors. We have enjoyed exploring new places and meeting new people all of our lives.
Now that we are parents, we want to share this love with the next generation of our family. We hope to inspire others to create their own memories. Some of our travels may be close to home, while others are across the globe.
Homeschooling
Bring on the books! Do we have too many? Maybe… but at least they’re not cats! Our children enjoy everything from Pangolins to WW2 history. Nature, animals, science, reading and history are obvious favorites (sorry math).
Hands-on opportunities, and traveling to places we’ve learned about are two thing we love to take part in. Sharing ideas within the homeschool community is something we value greatly.
Paying It Forward
Volunteering at home and abroad is something very important to us. We are thankful to do what we can to help others…including animals. We feel it is our responsibility to raise our children with a desire to get involved and make a difference in the world around them. We are always looking for new things to do.
What We Hope
Above all, we view each of these topics as ways we can make a positive impact on the lives of our families, communities, and even the places we travel to.
Therefore, by sharing our story with you, we hope to inspire you on your family’s journey by…
- contributing something that makes your life easier
- sparking your interest to travel to some of the amazing family vacation destinations or experiences we have visited
- sharing homeschool ideas and resources we have found helpful
- encouraging your family to find ways to help others in your own neighborhood, or someone else’s

Yay 1980’s hehehe!
Charlene
Who can resist the 1980s?! Thankfully, we still have our Jem and the Holograms dolls, My Little Pony collection, She-ra castle and Strawberry Shortcake dollhouse…and maybe a few others! Our daughters love when we bring them out to play with on occasion.
