If you are planning a trip to Mackinac Island this winter, make sure you check the hours and schedules for the ferry companies as they can vary with ice and weather. This year Shepler’s Ferry is continuing service until December 15th, 2024 from St. Ignace. After that, Arnold Transit will take over the winter schedule through April 2025.
